We have spotted numerous pro player sponsorship changes in 2025. This post will try to list them them all briefly and we will dig into the details separately.
The off-season is the time when contracts expire, agents hunt for new money and players try new racquets and shoes. This leads to pro player sponsor changes, which can be quite interesting to keep up with.
Have you spotted a pro player sponsorship changes in 2025? Post your spot in the comments.
Elina Svitolina to Diadem racquets
Diadem is a relatively new brand on the tennis market. We have reviewed their Diadem Nova racquets and the Elevate racquets and they do make impressive products for a new player on the market.
Svitolina will endorse a new line of Diadem racquets that will come on the market later this year. We hope to review them and give you more information. This is a big sign for a smaller brand and it will be interesting to see how Svitolina will do with her new racquet.
Hubert Hurkacz to Wilson and Adidas
Hubert Hurkacz used to be a Yonex apparel player and a Yonex Percept 97H ambassador. But now he has switched to some kind of Wilson Blade 98 V9 and Adidas apparel and shoes. The shoes look like the Adidas Ubersonic 5, which is quite a bit different from the Yonex Eclipsion he was using.
However, the shoes does get customization done to their shoes, racquets and apparel to make sure it is exactly the way they want it.
How will Hurkacz do with his new racquet in 2025? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
Madison Keys from Blade to Ezone
Madison Keys has been using the Wilson Blade for a long time. Before, she used the dense string pattern with 18/20 with a gut hybrid setup, but then made a switch to 16/19 and a full bed of Alu Power.
That was a small change that might have an impact on her game. However, for 2025 she has made a significant change from her Blade 98 to a Yonex Ezone. I assume it is an Ezone 98, but if you have more information you can comment below.
Miomir Kecmanovic to Dunlop FX instead of SX
Sometimes, these pro-player racquet updates are just cosmetic changes, but in the case of Miomir Kecmanovic, it looks like he has made the switch to a Dunlop FX instead of the spin-oriented SX line. This should give him more power and better directional control, according to retail specs, but with pro player racquets you never really know what is going on “under the surface”.
Lorenzo Musetti from Nike to Asics
It might be strange for some to see the elegant Italian player Lorenzo Musetti in Asics instead of Nike, but Nike is stepping away from tennis a bit. They still sponsor Alcaraz and Sinner, which have long-term and significant-sum deals. Musetti will use/endorse the new Asics Gel Res X shoes.
Frances Tiafoe to Lululemon

Another player moving from Nike is Frances Tiafoe. He is going to Lululemon. I have not quite understood his shoe situation as he always used to wear the Nike GP Turbo, which is now the Nike GP Challenge 1 (not the same shoe, but a similar idea). According to sources, Tiafoe will play in the K-swiss Ultrashot 4 for the 2025 season. This shoe is yet unreleased from what I can see and it’s the same model as Andrey Rublev endorses/uses.
Grigor Dimitrov from Nike to Adidas
Another player leaving Nike is Grigor Dimitrov who has been seen with the new Adidas Ubersonic 5. Dimitrov left Nike for Lacoste apparel last year, but stuck to his Vapor 9s until now.
“In every meeting with the team, I could feel the passion for tennis and for the ambition to create the best for the sport, and for those that play it,” Dimitrov said. “It gives confidence like no other to have a team like Adidas on your side—giving the ultimate sideline support.”
A strong quote of endorsement!
Alexei Popyrin to Psycho Bunny
Alexei Popyrin was a Fila player until this season, where he will be a Psycho Bunny ambassador. What is Psycho Bunny, you might ask? (I had to google it). This is what Psycho Bunny says: Psycho Bunny was founded back in 2005 with a brand vision to create a clothing line that combined classic American sportswear with a modern twist. This resonated with a wide range of customers looking for something both classic and unconventional.
It’s a Canadian brand that was originally founded in New York. They describe it as: Founded in New York. Re-founded in Montreal. Now found on you.
Anna Kalinskaya from Adidas to Nike
One player that is actually moving to Nike from another brand, is Anna Kalinskaya. She will be a Nike brand ambassador in 2025.
Juan Carlos Ferrero to Nike and Babolat
Juan Carlos Ferrero used to be number one in the world for a brief moment but is now more known as the coach of Alcaraz. His contract with HEAD has expired and he is now using Babolat racquets and wearing Nike apparel.
Cameron Norrie to Babolat apparel
Cameron Norrie has left Kswiss apparel and moved to Babolat. He will now be fully sponsored Babolat player as he was already using/endorsing the Babolat Pure Strike.
Leylah Fernandez using Babolat Pure Aero 98?
Leylah Fernandez is now using a racquet with a 16/20 string pattern instead of her usual 16/19. My guess is therefore that she has made the switch from the Babolat Pure Aero 100 2023 to the Babolat Pure Aero 98.
Kei Nishikori to a full bed of Alu Power
Kei Nishikori uses some rare Wilson pro stock painted like a Wilson Ultra. If you have any info about his current racquet, please comment below. He used to play a natural gut and Alu Power hybrid, but during the first round of the Australian Open 2025 he has been seen using a full bed of Alu Power.
Mirra Andreeva from Luxilon 4G to Alu Power
Yet another switch to Luxilon Alu Power. Rising tennis star, Mirra Andreeva, has switched her full bed of Luxilon 4G to Alu Power. Possibly in an effort to get more power since 4G is famously controlled.
Daniil Medvedev back to Razor Code White?
Daniil Medvedev switched from Tecnifibre Razor Code White to Razor Soft. But he has now been seen playing with a white string again. This could be a new colorway of Tecnifibre Razor Soft or maybe he is back to his old Razor Code White string.
Reilly Opelka to Tecnifibre TF40
We previously wrote that Reilly Opelka will use the Tecnifibre Tfight 315 paired with Tecnifibre Black Code for the 2025 season. However, when Tecnifibre officially announced the launch they said that he is using the Tecnifibre TF40. Is this just a case of the racquet company wanting him to endorse a less popular model to increase sales or is he actually using the TF40?
Alexander Zverev to HEAD Gravity Tour
We have previously covered Zverev’s switch to the HEAD Gravity Tour (most likely 100, not the well-received HEAD Gravity Tour 98). But we thought it made sense to mention it here as well.
Nikoloz Basilashvili to HEAD Gravity Pro
Big hitter, Nikoloz Basilashvili, used to endorse the HEAD Speed, but play a HEAD Gravity Pro. Now he has been seen with the official new Gravity 2025 cosmetic.
Summary
This post will be updated throughout 2025. If you have seen any sponsorship changes in 2025, please comment below and we will update this post.
What is the most interesting pro player sponsorship changes in 2025 to you?
Pro Stock Tennis has previously sold match-used Nishikori rackets. The were all 16×20 Pro Stock Tour 95’s. The racket in the picture is an 18×20, so he’s using a new frame in addition to a new string setup. There’s no PWS on this one. Looks like it could be some flavor of H22.
Do you know what racket L Pouille use? Blacker out Prince. Is I a new Prince coming or the old tour?
Jonas, did you notice that Emil Ruusuvuori posted photos of himself training with the Head Boom MP?
Emil has been away from the circuit since August, but he has always played with the Speed ??MP, since his junior days. He was even one of the few on the ATP circuit to use the Head Speed ??2024, considering that the player who endorses the racket, Jannik Sinner, continues to use the 2022 model for some reason.
It is curious that Head’s best-selling line, in this latest version 2024 (2.0 auxetic), is so little used on the ATP professional circuit (at least in the top 100, it was only Ruusuvuori).
What do you think is the reason for this? Maybe the paint is off-white, not glossy?
Head will have to think about this for the next model in the Speed ??line, which I believe will be released next year (with Prestige always launching a new collection first).
I hope Ruusuvuori returns to play with Speed ??MP, the 2024 paint job is very beautiful, despite the players’ resistance.
Ruusuvuori, one of the few players on the ATP circuit who play with the new Head Speed, has been training with Boom (as you posted on your Instagram stories).
It’s a curious change for two reasons:
1. Emil has been playing with Speed ??MP since his junior years.
2. For Head, I don’t think it’s interesting to change to Boom, because now practically no top 100 player plays with the new Speed ??model. In the WTA, Samsonova and Muchova play, but in the ATP, Sinner, who is the new face of the line, refuses to change his Speed ??2022. And Ruusuvuori was the only one using the new off-white/black paint job.
What’s your opinion?
I think it is the old Tour
