2025 has been a breakout year for Ivanov. He has demonstrated his talent on the biggest stages, achieving what very few have before him.
- Historic Junior Grand Slam Double: Ivanov joined a very exclusive list of players to win both the Wimbledon and US Open boys singles titles in the same year. He dominated the grass courts of Wimbledon without losing a set, claiming the title and followed it up with a strong performance at the US Open.
- Junior World No. 1: As a result of his consistent success, Ivanov reached the coveted No. 1 spot in the ITF Junior Rankings in July 2025.
- ITF Pro Circuit Title: In May 2025, he secured his first professional title at an M15 event in Szentendre, Hungary, becoming the first player born in 2008 to win an ITF title.
- Davis Cup Debut: He made his debut for the Bulgarian Davis Cup team in September 2025.
Ivanov is known for being calm off the court, but a fiery competitor once he steps on the tennis court.
