Turin (or Torino) is an Italian city widely known for tennis recently as they have been hosting the season-ending ATP Finals. Looking to visit the city and maybe play some tennis as well? Here are some of our best recommendations for the top hotels with tennis courts in Turin and nearby areas.

Note that there are not many hotels offering tennis for guests in the central areas and most of these options are outside of the city of Torino in the Piedmont area.

Sina Villa Matilde (Romano Canavese)

Sina Villa Matilde is a historic 18th-century villa turned hotel (see image on top), located in the countryside of Piedmont (Romano Canavese) between Turin and Aosta. Here you’ll find an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and a gym with sauna.

It is outside of Turin proper, in the countryside. If you want to stay right in the city centre of Turin, this means travel by car or taxi is required. While the tennis court is listed, we cannot find full details about surface type, lighting for evening play, or any extra fee, so you’ll want to check these upon booking.

    Other tennis hotels near Turin:

    • Relais San Maurizio — Santo Stefano Belbo (Langhe). Offers a new clay court, gym and luxury spa.

    • Grand Hotel Majestic (Pallanza / Verbania, Lake Maggiore). Great swimming pools, gym and tennis court with a view.

    • Park Hotel Italia — Cannero Riviera (Lake Maggiore).

    • Dream Hotel Alp / Dream Hotel (Macugnaga).

    • Casa Friends Lingotto Ospedali Metro Spezia – Central B&B option with a tennis court.

    Keep in mind…

For any hotel you’re interested in, you’ll need to confirm directly with the hotel that the tennis court is included and not just for club members as this can change. Even if tennis is available, you’ll want to ask about availability, hours, lighting and any extra cost.

If you want to stay very close to the city centre of Turin and still have tennis, there are not many options. You may have to compromise a bit on the size of the tennis facility, play at local clubs or choose a hotel outside the city.
