Solinco is now adding a new layer of creativity to its lineup with the Prizm Project. This new initiative introduces vibrant colors and a design philosophy that sees color not just as a style choice, but also as they say; “part of the formula”.
What Is the Prizm Project?
The Prizm Project aims to blend expressive colors with their current tennis gear and the goal is simple: to let players personalise their racquets, strings or accessories while keeping the professional-level quality Solinco is known for.
Inside Solinco’s labs, color is treated as more than just decoration. The company says pigment can influence how materials feel and behave – “shifting softness, altering application methods, and fine-tuning the overall response.”
While that vision sounds interesting, the current Prizm products focus mainly on aesthetic customisation rather than performance changes.

The First Drop: Colored Grommets
The first official release under the Prizm Project is a new line of colored grommets for Solinco’s popular Whiteout and Blackout racquet families.
Available in striking colors like Hyper-Green, Mach Blue and Electric Pink, these grommet sets give players a way to quickly refresh their racquet’s look. Solinco describes them as a “purely aesthetic upgrade” designed to let players “color their game.”
Each set is priced just under $10 and fits both V1 and V2 models of the Whiteout and Blackout frames.

What’s Next for the Prizm Project?
Solinco hints that the Prizm Project will later expand across other product categories, potentially including:
- Racquets: Special edition or permanently colored versions of existing models.
- Strings: New colorways and possibly new pigment-influenced string designs in the future.
- Accessories: Color-coordinated grips, bags and dampeners to complete the setup.
