Kith and Wilson Revive Yardley Tennis Club with Vibrant Court Restoration
Kith and Wilson completed their third global court restoration in June 2025, resurfacing three courts at Yardley Tennis Club in Birmingham, England, the birthplace of modern tennis. The project, tied to their Kith for Wilson 2025 collection, transforms the once-worn courts into a stylish community hub.
The three courts, located at Queens Rd, Yardley, Birmingham B26 2AH, were redesigned with the collection’s palette: bright blue for hard courts, soft green for grass and clay red for Roland Garros-inspired aesthetics. One court features Kith’s logo with tennis ball-dotted “i”s, another showcases Wilson’s script with a laurel wreath and the third displays the Kith x Wilson logo with “Kitch & Kin” at the baselines, nodding to Kith’s Queens, NY roots.
Kith partnered with Give It Your Max, a UK charity supporting disadvantaged youth aged 4–18 through tennis, to ensure the courts benefit local players. “We restore courts so communities can enjoy them for generations,” said Kith’s Ronnie Fieg, showing their commitment.
This marks Kith and Wilson’s third restoration, following Ella Fitzgerald Playground in Queens (2021) and two courts in Stains, France, with Fête le Mur (2023). The project aligns with their June 20 collection release, featuring Pro Staff 97 V14, Blade 98 V9, and Shift 99 V1 rackets, plus “Quiet Please” tees and premium bags in matching colors.
The charity partnership adds depth, but the courts’ longevity depends on maintenance. This initiative elevates Kith and Wilson’s collaboration beyond fashion, fostering tennis’s future.
