Emma Raducanu’s new racquet

Written by: Jonas Eriksson | January 2, 2026

Emma Raducanu’s new racquet is a Yonex Ezone. She has made the switch from the Wilson Steam 100 BLX for the 2026 season.

British superstar Emma Raducanu is ranked 29 in the world. She will started her season at the United Cup, playing with the Yonex Ezone 100.

We all remember what happened when Madison Keys went from her Blade 98 to the Yonex Ezone 98 during last year’s Australian swing (she won both a WTA title and her first Grand Slam). Although it is too early to predict a similar fate for Raducanu, a racquet switch paired with a coaching change (she has been working with Francisco Roig since mid-2025) can bring positive energy to her game.

Maybe she can reach her career-high, which is inside the top ten players in the world.

Raducanu’s new racquet is what looks like the new Yonex Ezone 100, which she strings with Luxilon Alu Power. If you know more about Emma Raducanu’s new racquet specs or string setup, please comment below.

Tommy Paul to the new VCORE 98?

Tommy Paul has been seen with the new VCORE 98 from 2026. According to Yonex, he has made the switch, but it is difficult to know for sure. He used to play with the 2023 VCORE 98, which looks pretty similar, but the playability is different. Which we talk about in our latest review video of the new VCOREs.

From Blade to Speed

There are a bunch of players going from the Wilson Blade to the HEAD Speed.

Lukas Neumayer has posted clips hitting with a Speed instead of his Blade Pro (H22). The same can be said for Ugo Humbert, who has also gone to a Speed from his Blade Pro.

Borna Coric is also a Speed player since mid-2025. Is it the Jannik Sinner racquet or different version that they are all switching to? It’s difficult to tell, but the Sinner mold (TGT 301) is popular among pros because the beam is thinner than newer Speed molds (22 mm vs. 23 mm) and therefore more similar to a Blade in some respects. The Sinner Speed packs a lot more power, though.

Even Andrey Rublev tried the Speed in a recent exhibition, but he eventually went back to his Gravity Pro.

Talking about the Gravity, Pedro Martinez has left the Blade Pro for a new racquet, which appears to be the Gravity Tour 98.

Coco Gauff is using a Speed, but is endorsing the new 2026 HEAD Boom. We are excited to test this one once the demo racquets arrive.

The Wilson Python

We made a post about players switching to the new Wilson Spin racquet, with the working name “Python”. Another update is Emilio Nava testing this racquet instead of his Wilson Blade. We will see during the Australian Open swing who has actually made the switch for tournament play.
