Bio and Career

Born August 23, 2002, in Montpellier, France, Arthur Cazaux was introduced to tennis at the age of three when he saw Nadal play. Nowadays known for his explosive athleticism and powerful baseline game, earning him the nickname “Le Jaguar.”

Turning pro in 2020, he reached a junior peak of No. 4, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the 2020 Australian Open boys singles, losing to Harold Mayot. His breakthrough came in 2021 at the Geneva Open, where, ranked no 603, he won his first ATP match against Adrian Mannarino 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-3 as a wildcard. Same year he also made his Grand Slam main draw singles debut at the 2021 French Open as a wildcard. In 2022, he claimed his first ATP Challenger title in Nonthaburi, Thailand, defeating Omar Jasika.

His standout moment arrived at the 2024 Australian Open, where, ranked number 122 with a wildcard, he defeated Holger Rune for his first Top 10 win, eventually reaching the fourth round, his best Grand Slam result.

In 2025, ranked No. 74, he reached his first ATP semifinal at the Swiss Open Gstaad and his first ATP final at the Generali Open Kitzbühel,

Cazaux has a career high rank of no 63 and has in total three Challenger titles, one ITF title, and a 1-2 Top 10 record.
