The ATP250 event moving from Antwerp to Brussels

We’re always seeing a few changes to the ATP calendar and so also in 2025. One of the major changes this season is the relocation of the European Open that will now be played in Brussels instead of Antwerp where it’s been held for the last nine years.

This is the largest tennis tournament in Belgium and the organisation is excited for the event to stay in the country. For 2025, the European Open will be played at the ING Arena in Brussels from 12th to 19th October.

Dick Norman, the tournament director commented:

“This new location allows us to take the tournament to the next level, both for players and fans. Brussels offers the ideal setting to help the tournament grow into a top-tier event, giving tennis lovers an unforgettable experience.”

The new arena is very centrally located and should make access easier, also for visitors from abroad. The ING Arena was previously called Palais 12 and hosted a memorable Davis Cup match between Belgium and Australia back in 2017.

Mayor of Brussels Philippe Close also stated:ย “The arrival of the European Open at the ING Arena proves once again that Brussels is the sports capital! This tournament not only puts our city on the world tennis map but also highlights a new generation of Belgian talent.”
