Alex Molcan, with a career high rank of no 38, frequently holds the title of Slovakia’s No. 1 singles player. But what is Molcan’s racquet and gear?
Alex Molcan’s tennis racquet
Alex Molcan uses a Wilson Blade 98 (the links leads to our recent Wilson Blade 98 V10 review). As usual, it is difficult to tell which generation he is playing. It could be a kBlade, which is a popular mold on the pro tour, but it can also be something else. It does not look like a Blade Pro (H22). He strings it with a natural gut hybrid. In the past, it looks like he used to string gut in the mains, but now it looks like Alu Power in the mains and natural gut in the crosses.
We are unfamiliar with Molcan’s specifications or string tension, so if you know, please reach out on Instagram or in the comments below.
