Cancha Racquet Bag Pro Review

Written by: Jonas Eriksson | February 1, 2025

The Cancha Racquet Bag Pro is the latest tennis bag from the innovative bag accessory brand, Cancha. We have been using their Racquet Bag Pro for a few months.

Cancha Bags are innovative in the way they use a modular approach. You can add the accessory items and bags you need for your user case. The bags are made with high-quality materials and I have tested pretty much all their bags and never had an issue with durability. The material they use is high tenacity recycled ripstop nylon with weather-resistant coating paired with YKK AquaGuard Zippers.

If you are interested in other Cancha products, we tried their excellent Voyager bag. This bag is about half the size of the Pro bag. I prefer the Pro as my racquet testing bag, as it is so easy to bring loads of racquets in. The benefit of Cancha bags is that you can tailor the bag to your situation. With a traditional tennis bag, you get all the features and pocket, many of which you might not need. You also get an often very large bag full of logos. The Cancha bags will fit with any racquet or brand you prefer, and they have an elegant matte black design without large, colorful logos that make you look like a sponsored athlete (but who paid for the bag :)).

Specifications

The Racquet Bag Pro from Cancha is their largest bag, but it’s still light and easy to move around. The bag can hold many racquets for the serious racquet nerd (they say 8, but I managed 12, but then there is only space for racquets, of course). The racquet has dividers for you to organize the content the way you want, which is yet another example of the way you can personalize your bag.

I added the excellent Pro Organizer to mine and the Sling bag, but you can of course also add the Day bag if you want to carry your iPad or to the court or on your tennis travel.

The specifications of the Cancha Pro can be seen below.

Height: 732mm/28.75in

Width: 330mm/12.9in

Depth: Up to 150mm/5.875in (when filled with 4 Racquets)

Weight: 500g/1.1lbs

Volume: 50 liters

Features

Dual Racket Compartments with water-bottle holder

  • Premium Aluminium Metal Buckles & Hardware
  • EVA backpanel for lightweigh comfort
  • YKK AquaGuard® Zippers
  • RF Bonded Hypalon Molle Patches for Add-on Accessories (Wet-Dry Bag, Day Bag, Pro-Organizer)

The versatility of the Cancha bag makes it stand out. If you just need loads of space for racquets, you can remove the dividers. If you want to organize your towels, shoes and gear, you can add the dividers and use the Pro-Organizer to bring clothes and shoes in an organized way.

Since the bag and materials are so light weight, the bag is still light and easy to carry even with add-ons and lots of things inside.

Performance

The Racquet Bag Pro has been joining me to my racquet testing sessions. The racquets go into the bag smoothly and the bag is just overall excellent for just carrying racquets. I have also used it as a regular bag with the Pro Organizer and I like how I can separate and organize things the way I like.

The Cancha bags are built for modality. You can simply clip on accessory bags using the Molle clips or put the organizer inside the bag. This is all well thought-out.

If you are unfamiliar with how Molle clips work, you can watch the video from Cancha below. I am also working on a longer review illustrating my user case and comparing it to other types of tennis bags.

As I wrote above, the Pro Organizer is a great accessory to the Cancha Racquet Bag Pro. I find it to be a really clever way of organizing your extra clothes, especially since it has a built in hanger. This is excellent when you travel as you can just take it out the bag and hang it on a hook in your hotel room.

I find the Pro Organizer to make the Cancha Racquet Bag Pro a lot better. I have used it daily for my quite specific testing sessions, but now I can also use it as a regular tennis bag, bringing spare clothes, etc.

Cancha brings a really innovative approach to tennis bags. It is quite impressive what they have managed to accomplish in a few years. I interviewed founder Jack Oswald on the Tennisnerd podcast early on in their journey and they have really grown and improved their products since.

Pros and Cons

+ Modular and flexible

+ Durable

+ Sleek design

— Some will prefer a standard tennis bag

Summary

I test pretty much every tennis bag of some form that comes out. Since I travel a lot, I am always on the lookout for the “perfect” bag for a particular trip or situation. And in my daily work, with all the racquet testing I do, the Racquet Bag Pro is an excellent choice for me to easily bring a bunch of extra racquets to the court. But for days I need to bring spare clothes and more, the Pro Organizer will be a great addition.

If you really value you bag durability and want the ability to add or subtract bags and features depending on the situation, Cancha bags should be looked into. I really like their innovative approach and cool design. I often get people coming up to me around the tennis clubs asking about my tennis bag, which never happens when I bring one of the standard tennis bags I have from the major tennis brands.
