Cancha All Court Backpack Review

Written by: Jonas Eriksson | June 21, 2025

As someone who’s tested a fair share of tennis bags over the years, I was excited to do this Cancha All Court Backpack Review (you can find our best tennis bags here). I’ve come to appreciate the balance between function, design, and portability.

It does say “padel racket bag” on the Cancha website, but I had no issues using it for tennis and I enjoy the compact form factor, especially when travelling. You can cover the handles with the attached racquet cover, and you can easily bring two racquets to the court, alongside tennis balls, water, shoes, and a towel, etc.

Sleek Design, Built for Tennis (and Life)

Let’s start with the design. Cancha bags have always had that clean, modular aesthetic—think urban explorer meets tennis purist. The All Court Backpack stays true to this DNA. It’s understated yet sharp, with weather-resistant materials that give it a premium feel right away. It doesn’t scream “tennis bag”, and that’s a good thing. I’ve taken it to the courts, the office, and even a weekend trip, and it never felt out of place.

The build quality is impressive. The ripstop fabric feels durable but lightweight, and the water-resistant zippers are a nice touch—especially if you’re caught in one of those sudden post-match summer showers.

Specifications

  • Weight: 0.8kg
  • Volume:30L (expandable to 36L with add-ons)
  • Materials: 100% recycled weatherproof fabric, Bluesign-approved, PFAS-free coating

Smart Storage, Modular Flexibility

What I really like about the All Court is how it’s designed for actual tennis players—not just gym-goers with a racquet. There’s space for two racquets in the rear compartment, protected and secure, and the racquet handles don’t awkwardly stick out like some backpack designs. You can cover them with a sleeve.

Inside, there’s just enough space for your essentials: a couple of cans of balls, a towel, your grips, a change of clothes, and some snacks. If you need more room, Cancha’s modular attachments—like the wet-dry bag or day bag—can be zipped on easily. That’s a brilliant concept and something I wish more brands would adopt.

The shoe compartment is discreet and ventilated, and there are handy smaller pockets for your wallet, keys, and phone. Everything has its place, and nothing feels like an afterthought.

Comfort and Portability

For those of us who bike or walk to the courts, the All-Court bag is an excellent option. The ergonomic straps and lightweight design mean you can carry a full load without feeling like a pack mule. The All Court Backpack sits comfortably on your back and doesn’t shift around too much when you’re on the move.

Who Is It For?

This bag is ideal for players who value versatility and clean aesthetics. I will use it while as my travel bag (on flights etc) since I need more than a backpack with all the test racquets and stuff I bring to the court. But if you’re the type who prefers to travel light, keep things organized, and avoid lugging around a massive racquet bag unless absolutely necessary, the All Court is a no-brainer.

Final Thoughts

The Cancha All Court Backpack is one of the most thoughtfully designed bags I’ve used. It bridges that tricky gap between tennis-specific function and everyday lifestyle use. Add in the modular features, weatherproof materials, and comfortable fit, and you’ve got a product that feels modern, smart, and genuinely useful.

It’s not cheap—but then again, good gear rarely is. If you’re looking for a bag that respects both your tennis and your time off the court, this one’s definitely worth checking out.
