Solinco is expanding its popular Prizm Project lineup with the upcoming release of Confidential Soft. Launching officially on February 17, 2026, this new string takes the core DNA of the original Confidential and gives it a vibrant, “electric pink” makeover with a focus on player comfort.
What’s New?
The most obvious change are the colors, a bold, expressive electric pink designed to really stand out on the court. However, the updates aren’t just cosmetic. Solinco has dialed up the plushness and pop of the string.
While the original Confidential is known for its firm control, the Confidential Soft uses a softer construction to provide a more arm-friendly experience. Players can expect:
- Enhanced Comfort: A more responsive and plush feel upon impact.
- Effortless Power: Increased “pop” off the string bed, making it easier to generate depth and pace.
- Signature Performance: Despite the softer feel, it retains the directional control, spin, and playability that Confidential fans rely on.
Who Should Play It?
This string is specifically engineered for three types of players:
- Comfort-Seekers: Those who love the performance of Confidential but want a version that is easier on the arm.
- Precision Hitters: Players who prioritize directional control and accuracy.
- Feel-Based Players: Ball-strikers who value a responsive, “connected” sensation during their shots.

Well, nice review but the fundamental data to really assess if the string can be considered effectively a softer version of the original confidential is missing. What about the dynamic stiffness.Any info on this?
