Sebastian Korda is one of the top rated American players on tour with a career-high singles ranking of world no 15. Read more below about his career and racquet specs.
Sebastian Korda’s tennis racquet
So, what racquet does Sebastian Korda use? Korda is sponsored by Wilson and uses their Wilson Blade 98 but has a rare 18/19 string pattern on his racquet, which is not currently available for sale. He strings his racquet with Luxilon Alu Power at 50 lbs mains and 47 lbs crosses, tensions vary depending on conditions.
According to “dl32” on the TW Forums, who owns his racquets, his specifications are 340g strung and 336 SW. This is similar to the specs of many Blade 98 players. The Khachanov personal test frame we have at Tennisnerd has similar specs and we have seen plenty of Blade 98 or Blade Pro pro stocks come in around that weight and swing weight range. Balance tends to be around 33 cm or 4 pts HL, but we don’t know Sebastian Korda’s exact racquet balance.
The Blade 98 is simply a brilliant racquet for players seeking control and it’s available in the 18/20 and 16/19 string patterns. We have tested an 18/19 pro stock Blade (click for our review) on our YouTube channel, which played very nice. I hope they consider releasing one in 18/19 or 16/20 in the future.

Which version of the blade are most of these players using? Or which version is it most similar to?
Are any players still using the v4 BLX from 2013?
Thanks, cheers
There are many kBlade layups, but one very popular one is V4 BLX and also V5 from 2015.
