Michael Mmoh was born January 10, 1998 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and began playing tennis already at the age of 3. He’s the son of former ATP player and Nigerian Davis Cup player Tony Mmoh and Geraldine Mmoh, a native of Ireland. Mmoh holds both American and Australian citizenship and moved to the United States at age 13 to train at IMG Academy in Florida.
Career Highlights
- Junior World No. 2: Mmoh reached a career-high World No. 2 in the ITF junior rankings in August 2015. He finished his junior career with a 127–48 record and recorded wins over future Top-5 players Andrey Rublev and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
