Tecnifibre is best known for its racquets and strings, but the French brand has been steadily expanding its apparel offering as well.
The new Pro Collection 2026 builds on that direction with a lineup that covers the essentials for training, match play and everything in between.
Instead of leaning heavily on seasonal graphics, Tecnifibre has kept the look clean and relatively understated, with navy, sand and terracotta running through the collection. The result is apparel that feels very much at home on a tennis court – functional without being overly technical, and easy to mix and match across a full day at the club.
Focus on Function and Layering
One of the more interesting parts of the collection is the focus on layering. The Men’s Pro Thermo Zip Longsleeve and Women’s Pro Thermo Zip 3/4 Longsleeve are designed for cooler conditions, with a polyester-and-elastane construction that combines stretch with warmth and breathability.
These are the kinds of pieces that make sense during colder morning sessions or when temperatures start to drop. The zip-neck design also gives you some control over ventilation, while the stretch construction is intended to keep things comfortable when you’re moving around the court.
Thermal insulation, breathability, moisture management and freedom of movement are some of the features they want to highlight a lot here.
X-Loop Brings Tennis Into the Fabric
The X-Loop pieces are probably the most distinctive part of the collection from a Tecnifibre perspective. The idea behind X-Loop is fairly simple: take polyester from used tennis strings and give it another life as textile material.
According to Tecnifibre, the X-Loop apparel uses 100% recycled polyester, with half of the material coming from recycled tennis strings and the other half from recycled plastic bottles. The company says an X-Loop T-shirt represents the equivalent of four tennis strings and two 1.5-litre plastic bottles.
It’s an interesting concept because it connects the apparel directly to something Tecnifibre already knows extremely well. Rather than simply adding a recycled-material story to its clothing, the brand is using waste from one of its core tennis products as part of the fabric itself.
The 2026 collection includes X-Loop tops and shorts for both men and women. The pieces are designed as performance apparel, with lightweight, breathable fabrics intended for training and match play.
The Rest of the Tecnifibre Collection
Beyond the X-Loop and Thermo pieces, the Pro Collection covers most of the basics you’d expect.
The Men’s Knit Pro Polo gives the collection a more traditional tennis look, while the Pro Soft Graphic T-shirts offer a more casual option. There are also performance shorts and the Light Pro Pants, which work well as warm-up or training pieces.
The Sherpa Zip Pro Jacket adds another layer for cooler conditions. It’s a softer, more relaxed piece than the Thermo Zip, and one that makes sense both around the courts and away from them.
What I like about the collection is that it doesn’t try to make every piece look like a match shirt. There are clear performance garments here, but also pieces that can easily be worn before or after a session.
A Similar Approach on the Women’s Side
The women’s collection follows the same overall direction, with a mix of technical tennis pieces and more casual options.
The Women’s Tech Dress is the obvious match-day piece, while the women’s X-Loop top and shorts bring the recycled-string concept into the performance side of the range. The Pro Thermo Zip 3/4 Longsleeve provides the corresponding cold-weather layer.
There are also Cotton Graphic T-shirts for a more relaxed look, giving the collection a little more variety than a traditional tournament-focused apparel line.
Visually, the 2026 Pro Collection is fairly restrained. Navy, sand and terracotta make up much of the colour palette, with relatively subtle branding and graphics. Tecnifibre has always had a fairly technical, understated image compared with some of the bigger apparel brands, and the Pro Collection follows that same path.
