Sebastian Korda is one of the top rated American players on tour with a career-high singles ranking of world no 15. Read more below about his career and racquet specs.
Sebastian Korda’s tennis racquet
So, what racquet does Sebastian Korda use? Korda is sponsored by Wilson and used to use their Wilson Blade 98 with a rare 18/19 string pattern, but in 2026 he has switched to the new Wilson spin racquet called the “Python” (the name will be something else). While Khachanov uses this racquet with an 18/20 string pattern, Korda has embraced the more open 16/20 pattern.
Korda used to string his Blades with Luxilon Alu Power at 50 lbs mains and 47 lbs crosses, but I would imagine he might have gone up a tad to compensate for the extra power and lift that the P98 brings.
According to “dl32” on the TW Forums, who owns his old racquets, his specifications on the Blades were 340g strung and 336 SW and I would assume they are similar for the P98.
Career and Bio
Sebastian Korda was born on July 5th, 2000 in Bradenton, Florida. He comes from a very successful sporting family, not at least being the son of tennis star Petr Korda (former men’s world number 2) and Regina Rajchrtova (former women’s top 30). His older sisters Jessica and Nelly are both golf professionals on the LPGA tour.
Sebastian grew up playing hockey but changed over to tennis at the age of 9.
He turned professional in 2018 and made his ATP main draw debut at the New York Open where he lost to Tiafoe in the first round. Two years later he made his Masters 1000 debut in Cincinnati and had a successful run at the French Open where he reached the fourth round and went out against Rafa Nadal (who alter went on to win the tournament).
Sebastian Korda has won three ATP titles and the first one came on 2021 at the ATP250 level tournament Emilia-Romagna Open. It took until 2024 until he won his second ATP singles title at the Washington Open (ATP 500). He then went on to win the Delray Beach event in 2026.

Which version of the blade are most of these players using? Or which version is it most similar to?
Are any players still using the v4 BLX from 2013?
Thanks, cheers
There are many kBlade layups, but one very popular one is V4 BLX and also V5 from 2015.
