Time for yet another new racquet cosmetic, a few days ago we wrote about the new EZONE Espresso Brown racquet, now Babolat has dropped the Pure Drive Spectra Limited Edition collection.

Inspired by the neon glow, glass architecture, and electric energy of New York City’s famous night sessions, the Spectra line skips Babolat’s traditional metallic blue. Instead, it features a stunning, dark prismatic finish that dynamically shifts between deep purple, electric blue, gold and pink depending on how the light hits the frame.

Same Performance, New Aesthetic

Underneath the cool paint job, it’s all business as usual. The limited-edition release is purely cosmetic, meaning you get the exact same specs and tech as the standard Pure Drive Gen11 models:

  • Equipped with NF²-Tech 2.0 flax fibers for vibration dampening and cleaner contact.
  • Retains its signature explosive power, stability and open 16×19 string pattern.
  • Available in the standard Pure Drive Spectra (300g) for heavy hitters and the lighter Pure Drive Team Spectra (285g) for speed.

Racquet, Shoes and Bag

The full Spectra collection from Babolat includes matching holographic tennis bags and the Jet Mach 4 Spectra tennis shoes, and I think these will be popular among many fans of Babolat racquets.
