Quentin Halys is French player with a powerful serve and a career high rank of no 61 (achieved January 2023), but what is Halys racquet and gear?

Quentin Halys Tennis Racquet

Quentin Halys’ racquet is painted like a Wilson Blade 98 V9 16/19, but looks in pictures more like a Wilson Blade Pro, also known as the H22 pro stock. He used to string it with Luxilon 4G, but in his most recent tournament in Dubai, it looks like he is using Luxilon Alu Power.

We are unaware of any customizations or string tensions in Haly’s racquets, so please comment below if you know this information.

Bio and Career

Quentin Halys was born October 26th, 1996, in Bondy, France. He started playing tennis at the age 5 at the local club.

Halys had a lot of success as a junior, reaching world no 3 in 2014. He won the 2014 French Open junior doubles title with Benjamin Bonzi and made the 2014 US Open junior singles final. His junior record was 98-44 in singles and 83-35 in doubles.

Halys turned pro in 2012 and broke into the Top 200 three years later, in 2015. His first big moment came in 2016 at the Australian Open, where he beat Ivan Dodig and took Novak Djokovic to a third-set tiebreak. That year, he won his first Challenger singles title in Tallahassee. Heโ€™s since then claimed 7 Challenger singles titles and 7 doubles titles.

Some key highlights include a fourth-round finish at the 2023 Miami Open, a semifinal at the 2023 Estoril Open and his first ATP final at the 2024 Swiss Open in Gstaad, where he lost to Matteo Berrettini. At Wimbledon 2024, he upset 21st seed Karen Khachanov to reach the third round, that’s his best Grand Slam result.

In 2025, at the Dubai Tennis Championships, he got his first Top 10 win, beating Andrey Rublev (3-6, 6-4, 7-6), and reached his first ATP 500 semifinal.

Coached by Nicolas Devilder, the 28-year-old continues to chase bigger goals on the tour and is still waiting for his first ATP title.
