Noah Rubin’s Racquet

Written by: Jonas Eriksson | March 10, 2017

Another young, big-hitting American is Noah Rubin. He runs fast and swings fast, but is maybe not the most versatile tennis player in the world (yet). He uses a Head Instinct pro stock mould with the pro stock code TGT 297.1 strung with the ever-popular Solinco Hyper-G 16L. I’m unsure about the exact specs in terms of stiffness because most Head pro stocks has a sub-number, in this case the “.1” that refers to the layup of the racquet.

Rubin is currently 21 years old and ranked 177 in the world. His coach is ex top player Robby Ginepri.

Here is a pic of Head TGT 297.1 pro stock racquets from Talk Tennis forum poster Alan Hill. Pretty funky paint job. This is a so called “hair pin”, without pallets, butt cap and grip.
