With his 178 cm (5 ft 10 in) and 73 kg (160 lbs), Navone has a physical presence that complements his gameplay. His nickname, “La Navoneta,” playfully echoes the nickname of Argentina’s national football team manager, Lionel Scaloni, known as “La Scaloneta”.
From Challenger Tours to ATP Finals
Navone started playing tennis already at the age of three, influenced by his family who all played the sport. He later attended the Escuela de Tenis del Club Atletico Nueve de Julio. His 2023 season was particularly notable; he led all players with five ATP Challenger titles.
