Bio and Career
Born December 5, 2001, in North York, Ontario, Canada, Liam Draxl is a Canadian professional tennis player known for his gritty, competitive style, and being a fighter on the court.
Turning pro in 2023 after a standout college career at the University of Kentucky, where he was named the 2021 ITA National Player of the Year, Draxl peaked at number 9 in the ITF junior rankings, reaching the 2019 Wimbledon boys doubles final with Govind Nanda.
His breakthrough came in 2023, winning his first ATP Challenger singles title at the Calgary National Bank Challenger, defeating Dominik Koepfer and entering the Top 300 of the rankings.
In 2024, he reached the Tyler Tennis Championships semifinal and won five Challenger doubles titles, including Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo, hitting a doubles high of no 111 in May 2025.
