Guto’s tennis racquet
Guto’s racquet is a very popular one on the ATP Tour, called the Wilson Blade Pro (h22). It is a heavier and more rounded version of the Wilson Blade 98. Guto has experienced a good rise over the last two years, successfully balancing high-level junior competition with professional ATP Challenger and ITF Futures events.
- Junior World Ranking: Reached a career-high of World No. 3 in the ITF Junior Rankings (January 2026).
- Grand Slam Success: 2026 Australian Open: Reached the Quarterfinals in boys singles.
- 2025 US Open: Reached the Semifinals in boys singles
- Professional Milestones:
- Rio Open (2026): Received a wildcard for the main draw of the ATP 500 event, where he pushed Vilius Gaubas to three sets (see video below).
- ATP Challenger Title: Won the doubles title at the 2025 Costa do Sauípe Challenger at age 15, becoming one of the youngest Brazilians to win a title at that level.
- ITF Success: Won professional doubles titles at the M25 São Paulo and M15 Joinville alongside his brother, Luís Felipe Miguel.
Guto is a modern baseline player who combines physical presence with aggressive shot-making. His forehand is his primary weapon and even though he grew up with clay courts, he’s shown he can fully master the faster hard courts.
The “New Generation”
Guto is part of a celebrated new wave of Brazilian tennis players, often mentioned alongside Victória Barros and Nauhany Vitória Silva. His idols are Federer and Djokovic, and his rapid development has led him to split his training between Brazil and the prestigious Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in France.
