Flavio Cobolli is an interesting, young and talented player from Italy (one among many great Italians) with a career high rank of world no 12. But what is Flavio Cobolli’s racquet and gear?
Flavio Cobolli’s Tennis Racquet
Favio Cobolli’s racquet is similar to Matteo Arnaldi’s (there are so many strong Italians right now), a HEAD Radical mold. This could be the first Graphene mold, which historically was the stiffest Radical. Many pros seem to like that one. It’s called TGT 307 in pro stock lingo. However, it could well be the Graphene 360 mold, called the TGT 351. That would be my prediction, but it would be great to hear from someone with more detailed information about the specifications. Cobolli is using Signum Pro Firestorm, like Matteo Berrettini. He strings around 26 kg (57 lbs).
Bio and Career
Flavio Cobolli was born on May 6th, 2002, in Florence, Italy. Currently ranked as the 5th best Italian player and expected to climb the ranks and compete for titles in the future.
Cobolli’s professional journey started with great achievements on the junior tours, where he clinched the 2020 French Open boys doubles title with Dominic Stricker. His ATP debut came in 2021 at the Emilia-Romagna Open in Parma, where he got his first ATP match win against Marcos Giron, and entered into the top 400 in the ranks.
Throughout 2022, Cobolli showed consistent improvement, first by winning his maiden Challenger title at the Zadar Open in Croatia, reaching the top 150 in the world rankings. His first Masters main draw appearance was at the 2022 Rome Masters (wildcard).
In 2023, he made his Grand Slam debut at the Roland Garros after qualifying through three rounds, although he was defeated by Carlos Alcaraz in the first round. His breakthrough continued further into 2024 when he reached his first ATP final at the Citi DC Open in Washington, beating several high-ranked players before losing to Sebastian Korda. This performance helped him reach a new career-high of No. 33.
Cobolli’s 2024 season was not over though… He continued by reaching the third round at both the Australian Open and the US Open, marking new personal records at these tournaments. Add to that significant wins over top players like Félix Auger-Aliassime and Tommy Paul and advancing to the third round at Masters 1000 events in Montreal and Cincinnati.
2025 and 2026 has seen Cobolli take a huge step upwards on the tour capturing his first ATP titles. His forst title cam in Bucharest defeating Sebastian Baez in the final. He followed that up with the biggest title of his career, defeating Rublev in the 2025 ATP 500 Hamburg final. His third title came in Acapulco in 2026 and currently he’s in the round of 16 at the Roland Garros event.

Hi tennisnerd!im just wondering if there is a chance that Cobolli is using tgt352.1,a thinner beam version of tgt351.
There is, for sure. Sadly, I don’t have the exact information.
Officialy he use Signum Firestorm
Sorry to be that guy, Stephan, but TGT307 is the pro code for the Graphene 360 Radical (and all the graphene models behind it) while TGT351 is the pro code for theGraphene 360+ Radical (and all the models since, until today). To me, the flat yoke grommets suggest Cobolli’s swinging a TGT351. Whether it’s the thinner Pro model or the thicker MP is too tough for me to tell on TV.
The yoke grommets on Cobolli’s racquet have the distinctive, flat shape of the 360+ Radicals [2021]. So it’s either the MP [TGK351] or the Pro [TGK352]. Since there’s only a 0.5-1.5mm difference between the wider MP and the thinner Pro, it’s tough to tell from TV. But I’d wager it’s the MP. Its higher power and launch angle certainly fits Cobolli’s game.
