Daria Kasatkina is a Russian-born but nowadays an Australian former top 10 player on the WTA tour, where she has 8 singles titles. But what is Kasatkina’s racquet and current gear?
Daria Kasatkina’s tennis racquet
Kasatkina endorses a Tecnifibre T-Rebound 275 Dual Shape racquet that’s mostly marketed towards junior women.
These are the specs of the Tecnifibre T-Rebound 275.
Weight unstrung 275g +/- 7g (9.7 oz)
Head size 645 cm² (100 in²)
Balance 335 +/- 7mm
Length 68.5mm (27 in)
Beam 24/26/24 mm
Stiffness 69RA
String pattern 16 x 19
Swing weight 317 (strung)
I’m sure there is some lead tape on the racquet and some silicone in the handle if she actually uses this racquet because although racquets are getting lighter, 275 grams unstrung sounds a little too light to be competitive on the WTA tour.
Bio and Career
Daria Kasatkina was born May 7th, 1997, in Tolyatti, Russia where she started playing tennis at the age of six.
Turning pro in 2014, Kasatkina peaked at No. 3 in the junior rankings, winning the 2014 French Open girls singles title as well as the European 16s championship.
Her breakthrough came in 2017, winning her first WTA title at the Charleston Open, defeating Jelena Ostapenko, and reaching the Moscow final. In 2018, she reached the Indian Wells final, losing to Naomi Osaka, and the Wimbledon and Roland Garros quarterfinals, entering the Top 10.
Following a few less successful years, a resurgent 2021 saw her win titles at the Phillip Island Trophy and St. Petersburg, followed by two more in 2022 (San Jose, Granby). In 2024, she won titles at Eastbourne and Ningbo, again moving up the ranks.
In total, Daria has eight WTA singles titles and a career high rank of no 8.
Following her coming out as lesbian back in 2022, she has now announced engagement with her partner, former Olympic skater Natalia Zabiiako. Kasatkina now represents Australia after gaining permanent residency in March of 2025 and reportedly having criticised Russia in regards to their LGBTQ rights and invasion of Ukraine.

Daria is one of the best tennis players making two-handed backhand. She is aggressive and really accurate in all the matches. I’m sure she will be in top 3 by the end of the year.
