Caroline Garcia, born October 16, 1993, in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France, is a dynamic right-handed tennis player renowned for her aggressive style and powerful serve. Standing at 5’10” (177 cm) and weighing 134 lbs (61 kg), Garcia wields a potent forehand and a versatile game that has worked well across all surfaces throughout her career. Coached by Bertrand Perret, the 31-year-old Frenchwoman reached a career-high singles ranking of No. 4 in September 2018 and a doubles ranking of No. 2 in October 2016.

Garcia turned pro in 2011 after a superb junior career, highlighted by reaching the 2011 French Open girls singles semifinals. Her breakthrough came in 2014 with her first WTA singles title in Bogota, defeating Jelena Jankovic. She has had a great career in doubles, and won the 2016 and 2022 French Open titles alongside Kristina Mladenovic, one of France’s most successful pairs.
