Adidas launched its 22-piece New York Collection on August 1, a 1990s NYC-inspired lineup that merges performance wear with streetwear aesthetics. The collection reflects some the era’s nightlife and fashion edge while of course maintaining great technical function.
This is adidas main collection for the 2026 U.S. Open and North American hard-court swing. Check out the whole collection here at Tennis Warehouse Europe (use code TNERD10 for 10% off) or at Tennis Warehouse USA and let us know in the comments, your opinion on the new adidas pieces.

The Designs
The design palette features white, distilled pink and maroon (along with classic black). The collection introduces silhouettes like cutouts, oversized tees, and bubble skirts with some garments featuring deep, stomach-baring side cutouts.
The Women’s New York Pro Lace Crop Top features the collection’s signature rose lace detailing inspired by track legend “Flo Jo” and her iconic lace bodysuit. The Women’s New York Pro Onesie is a bold piece, while the Women’s New York Pro Match Tank (image further down) and Pro Short gives versatile court options. For men, the New York 3D Pro Freelift Top shows the collection’s 1990s aesthetic with cutting-edge fabric technology, while the Pro Oversize Top and Pro Freelift Polo offer clean silhouettes in the signature color palette. The Short and Tight Set is a good coordinated option for players looking for a complete match look. The collection also includes a few accessories such as the Tennis Knot Headband and wristbands.
Many pieces integrates the new CLIMACOOL and CLIMACOOL+ technologies.

Technical Innovation
Despite the retro aesthetic, the underlying technology is brand new, combining adidas’s signature CLIMACOOL for fast drying with an advanced upgrade: CLIMACOOL+. This innovation uses raised 3D body-mapped capsules to lift the fabric away from the skin, optimising airflow and minimising heat build-up at matches. Read more on new technologies in tennis wear.
You’ll see these pieces on several tour players like Alexander Zverev, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Jessica Pegula and Elina Svitolina for example.

The New York Collection is quite diffreent from last year’s Y-3 collection, showing adidas’s confidence in going back to cultural references and heritage inspiration. Performance is still key in their thinking, CLIMACOOL+ introduces adidas latest cooling construction, which has been popular since it was introduced.
