Martin Landaluce

Martin Landaluce is a young Spanish talent that is looking to get into the top 100, but what is Landaluce’s current racquet and gear?

Martin Landaluce’s tennis racquet

Martin Landaluce’s racquet is a Wilson Blade 98 V9 18/20. This is the cosmetic, but there might be an older Blade 98 18/20 underneath that cosmetic. As you might know, pros get their racquets painted to look like the latest generation, because it would be madness for them to change every two years. Landaluce strings his racquet with a dark string in the mains and natural gut in the crosses. It is common to use a so-called hybrid setup for control racquets like the Blade, to open up a bit more power and a softer feel.
