Jakub Mensik is a future top ranked player on tour, with a really powerful serve and a strong forehand, but what is Jakub Mensik’s racquet? Check our player profile of the Czech below.
Jakub Mensik’s Racquet
Jakub Mensik’s racquet is a Wilson Blade 98 with an 18/19 string pattern. He used to play with the Blade 98 18/20 but switched to the slightly more open pattern for more free depth. A similar pattern to Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev. The ATP Tour wrote about Mensik’s racquet.
“The 18-year-old is also using more static weight, but the balance point is closer to the handle, and therefore, the racquet is more headlight.“
We don’t know Mensik’s exact racquet specs, but he strings his racquets with Luxilon Alu Power. If you know more, let us know in the comments. Thanks.

18×19? Did you mean 16×19?
No 18×19. If you look at his racket in photos and count the strings it is 18×19. Not a really popular string pattern but is still used.
