Get your racquets painted

Written by: Jonas Eriksson | March 4, 2022

This guy can help you get your racquets painted. Nikki Roenn runs Unstrung Customs, where he paints, strings and customizes racquets for pros and club players.

Since Nikki is a fellow tennis nerd and racquet enthusiast, who has a nice racquet collection, we did two videos on YouTube. One where we look at his impressive racquet collection, featuring the racquets of Djokovic, Murray, Nadal, Del Potro and so on. And one where I interview him about his business, how you can get your racquets painted or customized, and we also deal with some questions he has received on Instagram.

Nikki also offers painting and customization courses online for you who really want to dive deep into the topic and learn how to do it yourself. I have used his service to get racquets painted in the past and I’ve always been happy with the result and since then he has introduced new methods and colors to make the result even more appealing.

Check out Nikki’s pro player racquet collection

You will also find out the specs of the players in the video, but these are also available here on Tennisnerd.net.

Would you get your racquets painted?

I have used both the Wilson Customs program, Dahcor and Unstrung Customs because I like (obviously) to test different options. But it’s definitely nice to get a personal touch on your favorite racquet.

If you painted yours, what would it look like?

Here are some of Nikki’s recent projects.
