The Championships roll into the fourth round on Sunday, July 6, with an interesting clash on Court 1 between two in-form players, Chilean qualifier Nicolas Jarry and British No. 3 Cameron Norrie.
Player Form
Nicolas Jarry (World No. 143) had not been doing much before the Wimbledon event began, but he’s been a revelation here in London and has taken out big names! He defeated No. 8 seed Holger Rune, cruised past Learner Tien, and outlasted Joao Fonseca in the third round. Jarryโs massive serve has overpowered all opponents so far, in those three matches he had 154 winners, 65 of them aces.
Cameron Norrie (World No. 61) is the last of the British players standing at SW19. He battled past Roberto Bautista Agut, upset No. 12 seed Frances Tiafoe, and beat Mattia Bellucci 7-6(5), 6-4, 6-3 in the third round. Norrie is 3-2 grass record this year and I would say he’s a bit underrated on this surface, he’s gone deep before in major events.
Jarry vs Norrie
The head-to-head is tied at 1-1. Jarry won their first meeting in 2018 Miami (6-4, 6-4), while Norrie took their 2019 Rome qualifying match 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(6), non on grass though. This is their first grass-court clash, where Jarryโs serving edge could really challenge Norrieโs return game.
Jarryโs serve, with 104 aces across six Wimbledon matches, is tough to counter on grass, but his aggressive style can lead to errors if Norrie extends rallies.

Prediction and Best Bets
Norrieโs home advantage and strong defense make him the slight favorite among betting sites, he can possibly have an answer to Jarryโs serves. With the Chileanโs recent grass form, he can push Norrie to the limit though, likely forcing a long match with multiple tiebreaks.
Prediction: Norrie wins in five sets
Best Bet: Over 40.5 (-125/1.80)
