The Paris Masters are underway and we have spotted some pro players testing new gear. Thanks to all of you who send these over Instagram.
Pro player testing new gear – Paris edition
We have spotted some new gear for the Paris Masters 2025. It is late in the season and players might feel they can afford to experiment more before the pre-season.
In some cases, it might be a cosmetic update; in others, it might be experimenting with new strings.
Andrey Rublev’s new strings

Andrey Rublev has been testing strings in his Gravity Pro throughout 2025, it feels like. In Vienna, he was using a Signum Pro Firestorm at first and then switched to Babolat RPM Blast 1.30. At the Paris Masters, he is using a yellow one that looks like Grapplesnake Alpha in color but I have no idea what it is. The Paris string looks too yellow to be a Luxilon 4G, but not yellow enough to be Yonex Polytour Pro. Is HEAD working on a new string or is it something completely different? Put your thoughts or info in the comments!
Learner Tien to Ultra

Learner Tien has been using the Wilson Blade 98, which is a popular choice on the ATP Tour. But in Paris, he is playing what looks like a Wilson Ultra 100. It could also be a pro stock like the Wilson P25, but it’s tough to see in pictures. He has added a lot of lead tape on the sides at 3 and 9, which he did not use to have with the Blade. Is he still using Solinco Tour Bite strings?
It does look like a big step from a control-oriented 98 to a more powerful 100, but many players are looking for a little extra power these days.
Jannik Sinner new Speed cosmetic

Jannik Sinner has been stubborn about switching his Speed Touch MP to a different cosmetic than the 2022 he is using at the moment. Maybe it is superstition; maybe he finds the feel altered by the new cosmetics; perhaps he likes to use his broken-in racquets for as long as possible.
He has been seen testing the new 2026 Speed cosmetic in Paris. This racquet is already out in MP and Pro version as a part of the 2025 Legend series. The commercial version of the 2026 Speeds will come with Hy-Bor technology.

Bublik has a new blackout frame as well. It is no longer the Pure Aero frame. Looks more like a Blade or a Prestige. Was hoping to find out what it is here.
