Ethan Quinn is an American player with a career high rank of 95, achieved in June 2025, but what is Quinn’s racquet and strings?
Ethan Quinn’s tennis racquet
Ethan Quinn’s racquet is yet another Babolat Pure Aero 98. It is most likely the Babolat Pure Aero VS underneath the cosmetic, but I don’t know that for sure. He strings it with Babolat RPM Blast, but I don’t know his tension or exact specifications.
The Babolat Pure Aero 98 is becoming more and more popular on different levels of the men’s tour. Players known for playing this racquet model are Carlos Alcaraz, Holger Rune, Arthur Fils and Jacob Fearnley, to name a few. Bublik is also known to use it underneath black paint.

Bio and Career
Ethan Quinn was born on March 12th, 2004, in Fresno, California and he was introduced to tennis early at the age of three.
Turning pro in 2023 after a standout college career at the University of Georgia, Quinn was the No. 1 U.S. junior recruit in 2022 and won the 2023 NCAA Singles Championship, defeating Ondrej Styler.
Having made his Grand Slam doubles debut at the 2022 US Open, Quinn’s breakthrough came in 2023 at the Hall of Fame Open in Newport, where, as a wildcard ranked no 434, he won his first ATP match against Mukund Sasikumar.
In 2024, he claimed his first ATP Challenger title in Champaign, beating Nishesh Basavareddy, and won his second at the 2025 Lincoln Challenger, defeating Daniel Elahi Galan.
His biggest career wins so far, came at the 2025 French Open, where, ranked outside of the top 100, as a qualifier, defeated Grigor Dimitrov (who retired in third set) and Alexander Shevchenko in five sets (where he hit 92 winners!) to reach the third round, and also entering the Top 100.
We can expect him to climb further up the ranks in the coming years, with his powerful forehand and massive serve.
Currently, Ethan Quinn is ranked 95 and has earned total prize money of $798,249.
