With the US Open just around the corner, New Balance recently launched its latest 2025 US Open Footwear Collection, featuring Coco Gauff’s signature tennis shoes alongside other performance models. The collection blends bold design, proven tech and a nod to Gauff’s breakout 2023 victory in New York.
All the New Balance tennis shoes listed will be available to buy beginning August 15th, just a few days before the first day of US Open Fan Week.
Coco CG2 – Urgent Red & Monarch Burgundy
The headline act is the Coco CG2, Gauff’s second signature shoe, now dressed in Urgent Red and Monarch Burgundy. This colorway recalls the deep burgundy tones of her outfit from the 2023 US Open, where she won her first Grand Slam.
The CG2 features:
- Energy Arc carbon-fiber plate
- Dual-density FuelCell midsole
- Ndurance rubber outsole for hard-court grip

Coco Delray – Everyday Versatility
The Coco Delray is designed for players of all levels, offering a balance of on-court performance and casual style.
Two colorways:
- Women’s: Bisque & Urgent Red
- Men’s: Bisque & Monarch Burgundy
Both feature FuelCell cushioning for comfort and responsiveness.
Fresh Foam X CT-Rally v2 – Performance Upgrade
While not a Gauff signature, the Fresh Foam X CT-Rally v2 is part of the same US Open pack. It will be worn by other New Balance athletes, including Tommy Paul, Jordan Thompson, and McCartney Kessler.
Upgrades for 2025 include:
- Breathable mesh upper
- Larger heel clip for stability
- External shank for torsional support
Colorways:
- Women’s: Sea Salt & Lime Leaf
- Men’s: Lime Leaf & Sea Salt

FuelCell 996v6 – Sleek and Speedy
Also included is the FuelCell 996v6 in a fresh New Spruce & White finish. Known for its low-cut profile and agile feel, it’s a versatile choice for competitive players and will be worn by Sorana Cirstea.
This year’s US Open collection from New Balance delivers some strong options, from Gauff’s signature CG2 for elite performance, to the more accessible Delray.
