In the last match of the day at the 2025 ATP Rotterdam on Wednesday, in the round of 16, we see Jiri Lehecka (Czech Rep) take on Hubert Hurkacz (Poland). Let’s look a bit closer at the details ahead of this clash and our predictions.
When? Wednesday, 5th February at 9pm CET.
The 24th ranked Lehecka goes into this match as slight favorite against 21st ranked Hurkacz. This is mainly due to his recent form where he already have 10 out 11 wins this year and has a really good record at indoor tournaments as well. The only loss this season was against Djokovic in the fourth round of the Australian Open.
In the first round Lehecka outed talented Alexei Popyrin in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2, and looked really solid every time he was put under pressure.
Eight-seed Hubert Hurkacz is a generally solid player that plays well on all surfaces and is constantly a tough player to face. He comes from a first round win, 6-3, 6-2, over Flavio Cobolli two days ago. Following a slow start to the United Cup earlier, the Pole has gained momentum even though he was defeated by Kecmanovic in the second round in Melbourne.
H2H, Lehecka vs Hurkacz
This is just the second meeting between these two, as they met at this tournament last year in the first round. Hurkacz took the win back then with a hard fought 6-3, 6-7(9), 7-6(9) victory.

Predictions and Odds
Jiri Lehecka is a player that we think will have a great 2025 season and climb the rankings. He’s in great form and just as the sportsbooks, we see him as the slight favorite going into this match and he’s out for revenge for last year. This will be a much tougher test for Hurkacz, compared to a struggling Cobolli in the first round.
Currently the odds shows 1.73 (or -137.5) for Lehecka and 2.05 (or +105) at a win for Hurkacz.
We expect a tough battle and might see three sets.
Our prediction: Lehecka to win in three sets, at odds 3.85 (+285).
