POLL: Best tennis racquet of 2025?

First of all, big thanks to all of you who voted in the poll for the Best Racquets of the Year! In total there were 3318 votes and you can see the result further down on the page.

We are not surprised to see Yonex Ezone and Babolat Pure Drive on top of the rankings, as both releases were very good. The Pure Drive 100 and Yonex Ezone 98 were our personal favorites in the power category and this is where the industry is going – more power.

We are currently working on our video for the Best Racquets of the Year, but it is not drastically different from your opinions. We would have placed the HEAD Radical and Speed Pro higher in the list, to be honest, but the Tecnifibre Tfight was also an excellent line of racquets. Feel free to discuss the results in the comments. Are you surprised? Do you agree? And if you disagree, why?

There were many releases in 2025, especially at the start of the year, which made it challenging to be a play-tester and reviewer. Luckily, we had access to a bunch of racquets before their release. As always, we try to be as honest as possible with our thoughts and opinions about each racquet. We try them over more extended periods of time with different tensions, customization and other players to give you as much of a well-rounded opinion as possible.

We also appreciate your feedback; of course, as racquets are personal and some will work for certain players and some won’t. Remember to use a string setup you are familiar with when you test racquets. You want to know how the racquet plays and using an unfamiliar string, will make it difficult to know what is the racquet and what is not.

For the upcoming Best of Racquets video on our YouTube channel, we will divide into categories like Power, Control and Spin, but also talk about our favorite racquets in general. You can find separate reviews of each of these racquets by searching on the website or our YouTube channel.

We bundled the racquets for easier voting. There are, of course, many different models in the Pure Drive or Radical family, but whether you like the 98 or the 100, the MP or the Pro, you pick the family of racquets that were most impressive this year.
