We have tested many of the ADV tennis bags in the past years (back in 2023 we reviewed the ADV Jetpack Backpack) and now they’ve released yet another option for players, the Flex Backpack.

Designed for both tennis- and pickleball players, the new backpack promises to solve the age-old problem of needing a bag that can handle a full match-day setup without the unnecessary bulk.

Now available in five different colors from the ADV website via this link for a 10% discount.

Let’s look closer at what this bag will offer.

Space on Demand

ADV is know for some innovative thinking around their tennis bags and the Flex Backpack comes with further solutions.

The standout feature of the new bag is its Expandable Gear Canopy. This canopy flexes to accommodate really bulky items, allowing players to carry things like shoes, jacket or even a bike helmet without having to switch to a larger bag or overstuff the main compartment. Basically it’s designed for boosting capacity exactly when needed, and keeping the pack sleek when it’s not.

18 compartments

Apart from its flexible capacity, this bag maintains ADV’s commitment to organisation. You’ll finds a total of 18 precision-placed compartments to keep every piece of gear or accessories separate but also with easy access.

Some of the storage features?

  • Racket and Paddles: A padded, heat-shielded sleeve is built to fit up to two tennis rackets or three pickleball paddles, using thermo-lined protection to guard against tension loss, heat and other daily wear.
  • Secure your laptop or other sensitive items: A dedicated pocket features a water-sealed zipper and a false bottom to keep a laptop covered and protected from water or accidental drops.
  • Smart Stashes: Compartments include a hidden back panel pocket for valuables, quick-access “Speed Pockets” and a clear sleeve dedicated for toiletries or messy items like sunscreen.

The Flex Backpack is made to last and be able to survive a lot of traveling (also comes with a 10-year durability guarantee). Its construction include a military-grade, lightweight Kordra nylon weatherproof shell, a structured base that allows the bag to stand upright and long-lasting YKK zippers.

This might be a good option if you need good organisation and will use it for different kind of situations or court sessions.
